I CAN ONLY IMAGINE

Three weeks ago, Mercy Me stood on the stage on the cruise ship and sang that song that made them famous. I Can Only Imagine. Well today there are 3 families that would no longer have to imagine moving into a new weather tight home. It is a reality. The Carpenters Crew some 43 strong have been serving the Lord in Mexico building dreams for the poor.
These families have all been living under one roof, in three rooms and each family has their own living quarters. Not the typical free standing homes we usually build, but two additions on either side of the existing house, with separate entrances. A huge new outhouse was dug and built by the master of the bano, Quinten Peterson. Just down the road, we helped another family that had built 4 walls out of cement and blocks, but had no money for the roof and floor. We put the roof on yesterday, and will pour the floor in a week or two.
There is also a church in the colonia that needed some rafters and about ten pieces of roofing to get the whole congregation under roof, and we finished that for them yesterday as well. The water lines that have been waiting to be installed got further along this week than I anticipated thanks some of the Crew. A backhoe, water lines, and connection fittings made the need for water a reality for hundreds of people. They all imagined having water some day, now it's a reality. we still have about 2 miles of water line to put in when God provides the funds, and He will!!!
The month a February had been a great month for us, as we welcomed our Granddaughter Lea into our lifes. We went on a cruise, built 4 four houses, hosted two teams, had a huge food outreach, and saw several people come into a relationship with Jesus Christ, provided thousands of pounds of beans and rice to several different ministries. WHAT A MONTH IT WAS INDEED.
I still believe that provision is Gods way of showing us that were doing what we're supposed to be doing. Thanks to all that support the Ministry, we can't even begin to tell you how grateful we are that you understand that helping the poor is why God has blessed you. MUCHAS GRACIAS
