NOW WEVE BEEN IN THE HEAT

We dropped off the R.V. to have the non working brakes fixed and several other things needed fixing. We flew home to finish moving everything out of the house in the heat. Everyday since we returned has been over 100 degrees. Over 50 days in a row!!
We're pretty much settled into the new house. The damage to our patio from the storm in April is still not fixed. I spoke to the contractor and he said it will be replaced in couple of weeks. I had the siding and awnings fixed.
Melodys Orphanage has moved into another temporary house,  so the need for a permanent facility continues. We have been there a few times for birthdays and the kids are doing great.
Our food outreaches continue, as does Paula's sewing class. Paula has sold all the quilts they have made, which is great. We're down to two pallets of beans in the warehouse and Hope Development called the other day and is donating another truck load of beans. We are on the hook for the transportation from Illinois. Fortunately the rate has gone down a bit from the last load. Should be under $3000.
I'm heading back to Illinois next week to get our truck and R.V. It was a costly trip this year, $5000 in repairs total!!! Ouch !!!
