CANADIANS-CHOOSING FAMILIES AND CANS

The team from Petitcodiac Baptist Church in New Brunswick Canada arrived late last night and we inflated a bunch of air beds to make everyone comfortable after 18 hours of travel. It was too late to head to the Casa Hogar Benito Juarez, the orphanage that they will serve in this week. Paula and I enjoy opening our home to people coming to bless the people in Mx. If only for a night or a week. We had breakfast and after the team had thier devotions we headed to the colonia to meet some people that want to build some houses with us next month before going to the orphanage. Once we arrived there we ran over the plans for the week and had lunch with the kids before the team gave a wonderful puppet show as well a skit for the kids. Julie our intern at the orphanage will stay with the team and help with the work projects. It will be a great week for the team and the kids they will get to know. We are in the process of picking some needy families to recieve the answer to thier prayers for a house. One foundation will be ready next week for the house that was paid for by a group of friends and family of the Shong Family from Indiana that donated enough money to build a few house and this is the second one that we have built with the donations. Rauls' son David called with some toilets that were removed from a job site and we gladly brought them to the colonia to be installed in the bathrooms we have been building. But until we get the bathrooms built, they make a nice chair. We had another great day in Mexico and no signs of any trouble anywhere we go, so come on down and touch a life!!
