DEDICATION DAY

As the team from Canada continues to minister to the children, our work in the colonia is as busy as ever. We enjoyed church yesterday as Kim Hill led us in worship, what a treat. We met with a group of people for lunch, interested in building some houses with us. One of the couples are winter texans and as we talked we realized we had met years ago on one of our missions trips with Strategic Alliance, small world. Thier group started to build a church in Progresso, Mx and asked if we could possibly do some work on it to get it finished, and also build a house for a very needy family there as well. We crossed the border about 2pm to dedicate Jaimies and Juanitas house. We decorated it for a while as the family waited next door. It never gets old, dedicating a house that God has provided for a family. They were very grateful and we pray that Jaime and thier three sons start attending church more regularly. We had a bite to eat at Carmello and Ruths house before we went to the orphanage to visit the team. They were glad to see us and expressed how awsome it has been to spend this time with the children. They all seemed to enjoy playing with the kids. Tomorrow I will take Pastor Gordon around the colonia to see different ministry opportunities in the colonia. They were really moved by the extreme poverty there and would like to come again and build some houses. We left the orphanage at 8:30 and spent two hours on the bridge into the US.
