END TIME HYSTERIA, OR REALITY???
As events in the world rage out of control with no apparent end to all the turmoil, what in the world is going on? So many of us are asking the question, is this it? Is it what? So often we look to sources outside of the clear answers found in the bible and get all upset when someone says that the signs we see are clear signs of the return of Jesus Christ. As I read through the books of Daniel, Zechariah, Ezekiel, Matthew and Revelation I see many things happening now to indicate Christs return to restore things to the way God had intended. As the Middle East Nations and many other Nations around the world join in a sort of unification to end the conflict in Israel, by force if needed, I would suggest you google the word flotilla and see what is going to happen next month as the nations will provoke Israel to defend itself. I would suggest the web site www.prophecynewswatch.com and there is a fount of info there. Is Glen Beck right? Maybe!!!
IT'S A TIME OF RENEWED HOPE
As we drove through the colonia yesterday with the truck loaded with food, we sought out two families to experience the blessing of God of a new house, as we passed out bags of food. We came across one family renting a house in the colonia and had just purchased a lot down the road and didn't know how they would ever get the money to build something. They had no hope of building unless God provided a miracle. Damian, Natalie and their two kids will experience a miracle next month when hope is renewed and the house gets built. We crossed the canal where Vady and Leticia live with their three kids in house of pallets, dirt floors and a tarp filled with holes making an attempt at keeping all of their possessions dry when the rains come. I believe this will be the family that the students from IIT and Mexico Project.Org will design and build a house for next month. The existing " house" will have to be torn down to make room for the new one. Vadys Mom, Martha, lives next door and the family can stay with them until their hope is renewed. We took some time to get to know them a bit and had a time of prayer and supplication before we left, thanking God for the blessed hope He give us. After the house is built, we told Martha that we could pour concrete through her windows and give her a new floor. She has a good house and very clean too, but all dirt floors make it a real mess when it rains. We continued down the road until all the food was gone and had prayed with a few people that needed healing.
PHOTO VIEWING PROBLEMS ?
If the photos on our blog don't load, click your back arrow and then forward arrow, this has worked for me. We'll get it worked out. A Quincineta or 15th birthday party for Jennifer in the colonia Saturday night. We stayed until about 8;30 and then headed back across the border. Record heat today 102. We stayed home today and are trying to secure a mortgage for the new place.
SOW BOUNTIFULLY, REAP BOUNTIFULLY
Before we handed out the food last Saturday, I shared with all the people, how as result of sowing these small bags of food into their lives, God has given us an abundance of beans and rice to feed them the rest of the year. I also challenged them, again, to take what God has given them and give it to someone else that might have a greater need and see what God will do. I think a message like that to the poor pretty much falls on deaf ears, but do I blame them. They are poor and needy, but so was the poor widow in the bible, that after giving all she had to someone else was rewarded with an unending supply of food. I think the same message falls on some deaf ears in America, but we are so grateful for all the obedient ears that support our work here and supply for the needs of others. We pray for Gods blessings on you all. The warehouse has plenty of food and after praying for water, we had 3 skids donated on Friday. So if the Rapture of the Church happens and your "LEFT BEHIND" make your way down here where there is plenty of food and water! We continue sorting through all the clothes and household items donated last week and fill up the vehicles of all the pastors that come for food and clothes. We won't ever see the lives touched by all the food and clothes distributed, but our, yours and mine, reward is in heaven. THE END OF ALL THINGS IS AT HAND, DO WHAT GOD TELLS YOU TO DO AND TRUST HIM.
