FROZEN TUNDRA

Last week had us scrambling to keep pipes thawed and to protect plants and flowers. It was sad to see all the plants and palm trees succumb to the freezing rain and ice. It was pretty when the sun came out, but the banana trees and small palms met their match. Yesterday our friends from Chicago and Indiana came and we built a house in Progresso, Mx. We got a late start and still managed to get the whole house built, except for the roofing. The family will paint everything today and we will build another house in Reynosa today and tomorrow and finish the house in Progresso on Thursday. The new house is perfect for everyone with 15 people sleeping in the dorms. Rick and Diane Balmer from Laharpe Il are hooked up with one of the R.V. sites with their camper and Diane is preparing all the meals for us as we minister to the poor in Mx. What a blessing they are to us and everyone they touch. An old Friend, Hammer, is dying of cancer, so please take a moment and pray for him and his family. Adios

Nice work. I came across your blog while “blog surfing” using the Next Blog button on the blue Nav Bar located at the top of my blogger.com site. I frequently just travel around looking for other blogs which exist on the Internet, and the various, creative ways in which people express themselves. Thanks for sharing.
