BIG HEARTS BUILD BIG HOUSES

A generous donation last month has us building the largest house we've built in the colonia, and Carmelo, Beto, Raul, Me and Paula along with Lucy and Ruthy and the humble family recieving the house have all worked very hard hard in 100 degree heat to get er done. As you can see in the photos it is big! 24 feet long and 13 feet wide. The family built the walls from cinder block while Paula and I were in Chicago and we spent last week building the rafters, porch, and installing the roof. The doors and windows went in yesterday and we finished the inside, complete with 2 loft areas for the 6 kids. The boys get the blue loft and the 4 girls get the pink one and Hector and Roselia get thier own space downstairs. We are totally out of gas so we will decorate and dedicate the house Monday. We need to buy them beds and blankets and a table and chairs, everything they have is in really bad shape, so the extra money donated will provide them with some new household items as a special kiss from God. The truck that was given to us has already blessed us after some heavy rain yesterday afternoon had the roads almost impassable from the mud so pushing a button to get four wheel drive is so cool. THANK YOU LORD. Yesterday we obeyed the voice of the Lord and gave Beto and Carmelo a financial gift because of thier continued faithfulness helping us build the houses and reaching out to thier community. We all cried as we prayed and thanked God for the blessings he give us. Thanks to all of you that understand the joy of giving to those less fortunate and help us help them. May God fill your cup of joy to overflowing as you obey God. ADIOS
