A CLOWN,A NEW CHURCH, A FAMILY AND A FINISHED HOUSE
How many people can experience all of these treasures in just a few days? Paula and I were able to this past week. As we said goodbye to our family from Moraine Valley Church, the clown and the team in front of the new house are gone but their sacrifice goes into eternity. Paula and I stopped by to visit Martha yesterday and she has a different smile. One of hope and new life she has found in Christ. The church is a new one that Pastor Procono has been praying for since he built the foundation over a year ago. He had bought most of the materials and Roy and Rebecca Busby from Alabama assembled a team of willing hands from the colonia and built the church in three days. Even though there was no money to pay the men, they were giving of themselves to the Lord and the reward may be on the other side. The family standing by the blocks, is Luciano and Eva Hernandez and thier children Eric(7) Anna Paula(4) Louis(3) and newborn Isaac. We had been planning on building them the standard wood frame house, but a generous donation made the better block house Gods choice for them. Pastor Victor is always glad to have some work to support his ministry and family. Victor has a helper, Francisco who just arrived in the colonia a few days ago with the clothes on his and his wife Glorias back. They apparently hitchiked from the state of Coahuilla with thier 13 year old daughter, looking for a better life. Paula brought them to our ministry house to get clothes and shoes. We gave them a stove, propane tank, a bed and blankets, sheets, dishes and anything else we could find to bless them. They are staying in a little shack next door to the other family that came a few weeks under similar circumstances with nothing and God provided for them as well. AMEN!

It is great for our church to partner with you in the significant work you are doing in the colonia. Every trip seems to experience God's blessing.---Rich Larson
