OUT IN THE CROWD, ONE MAN STOOD ALONE

The people began to line up and register at 6:00 AM. Paula and I were just getting out of bed at that time and Beto and Lucy were at our ministry house in Mexico serving the Lord. I never prepare any message and this week was no different. God had spoken to my heart about giving every family a double portion of beans and rice this month and just telling them that He loved and sent His Son to rescue them from darkness and bring them into His marvelous light. I shared about giving and that the double portion that they had been blessed with was seed to be sown into other peoples lives. Roy and Rebecca helped us out again and we are really enjoying their company and their help. Finally some missionaries we can work along side of toward the common goal, HELPING THE POOR! Any how, after sharing about Gods love we asked them how many families sent their children to bed hungry this past month? About seven hands went up and in tears I told them I don't ever want that to happen again and they could come to us or Roy and Rebecca for food when the need arises. We bowed our heads and prayed over everyone, for jobs, healing, houses, giving hearts to support our work here and for Salvation for anyone that did not have it. And after all the food and juice boxes were gone, a stranger was hanging around and pretty much asked what He had to do to be Saved!! Wow! I asked Him why He felt the need and the message of God Loving Him was all he needed to hear. He said His life needed changing, so after Paula shared with Him some more I suggested that we all kneel down on the ground as Lalo prayed to God for the first time in his life and forever changed his eternal destination. So rejoicing in heaven took place as we prayed and we are reminded of why we surrendered our so called lives in Chicago to follow Gods call to Mexico and now we really live.
