BURRRRRR

We are so sorry for the harsh winter you are enduring in Chgo. It seems almost unbearable to have temps that cold. We don't miss that at all. I wear long underware when it gets into the 40's here! The last few days we have been organizing the clothes and bins of stuff that we need to give away. Paula has everything painted inside and I have been finishing with outside things. A Pastor from the church down the road made us some security bars for the windows and the door, and me and Raul installed them yesterday. A man named Fernando was at Carmellos and Ruthies when we arrived yesterday and was in need of clothes and food. He is from Honduras and was deported from the US and they just dump him in Reynosa and they usually have no place to go or money to live on, so we loaded him up with clothes and a blanket and a new backpack. He said he would work for food, so I had him level off the fill on our lot and tommorrow he will start digging a hole for a septic tank. We gave him food and money and Carmello drove him somewhere down the road where he had a place to stay. The next several weeks are going to be very busy, We need to build about seven foundations for the groups coming in Feb and March. The truck load of donated paint is suppose to arrive here on Mon. That gives us enough paint for about a hundred houses. Do you think God has prepared the hearts of his people to give enough to build a hundred houses this year? That would be awsome! We have 5 groups coming in March so that will be a crazy month. Our daughters Kristin and Kelly are coming to visit the last week of Feb. We can't wait to see them, since we couldn't make it to Chgo for Christmas. Adios for now
