THREE KINGS DAY CELEBRATION

After the team from Chicago left Paula and I started thinking about what's next, as there is always so much to do.We are both dealing with coughs and cold symptoms but we needed to get the kids in the colonia a couple of piniatas to celebrate Kings Day. Paula stayed home to rest and I got the Piniatas and a kings cake. What a great time of joy and laughter, as you can see on the kids faces as they try to break the piniata. Over a hundred kids were there and all then lined up and drew a number that had a toy or stuffed animal to choose from and all were blessed. The cake wasn't big enough to feed everyone even a little piece so I gave it to Pastor Victor and his family to enjoy and to see who gets the little plastic toy hidden in the cake somewhere because whoever gets the muniecco has to feed everyone tamales on the 2nd of Feb. We had great laughs as everyone took a bite with trepidation hoping it wasn't in thier piece. Victors daughter in law got it, and then we cleaned it and put it back in the piece I took home to Paula, sorry dear, but your making tomales next month.
