HELPING HANDS, WILLING HEARTS

Some friends from Zion Luthern church in upstate Michigan came to put a new roof on Rosarios' kitchen area in the colonia. It was one of those repairs I had promised to do since the first of the year and finally had the time and the team to help get it done. Dave, Loni, Deborah along with Cindy and her two kids Emily and Caleb drove all the way from Michigan to be Jesus with skin on. We managed to tear off and build the new roof in one day, and also do a childrens craft project at the church and then we cooked about a hundred hot dogs and everyone had thier fill. Today the group shared some songs at church after Victors message and then fed everyone chile nachos. We had so much food left that we drove to the Colonia Alacranes and fed another hundred people or so. A great couple of days spent giving thier lives away as a living sacrifice.

We miss you guys!!!!thankyou for making us all feel so welcome. My kids have been begging to come back. I am trying to figure out when out of the busy summer season they have time to spare so if not now at least they will be back next spring. I would love to have them come in the summer also! We'll see. God bless you all down there!
