...share your food with the hungry and provide the poor wanderer with shelter--when you see the naked clothe him... Isaiah 58:7
NOW UNTO HIM WHO IS ABLE
After a great clothes and food outreach Saturday we spent Easter at church and then lunch with some folks we met at church and then Dennis joined us in Mexico on Monday along with John from Houston to build a house for Soria and her family. We got a very late start and still managed to get the first three walls up. It was close to a hundred degrees, and we consumed about 8 gallons of water. Today we finished everything except the roof and left early to meet Jeff from our church who knew a marble contractor with about 25 sinks he cant sell because of chips and flaws. He thought he might sell them cheap but after showing him pictures of what we do, he said we could have them all for free. Praise God! His name is Gilberto and he is a brand new christian, so please pray for him. Divine appointments are always part of Gods plan. We had a very large group that came here last year cancel thier plans to come and build a few houses this June. The media is really hurting missions in Mx. We still have yet to see anything that would cause us to stay out. We continue going everyday and trusting God to protect us. I'd rather be on the border in Mexico in Gods will than sitting on my couch out of it!!! If God calls you to go on a missions trip than GO. Gods call is irrevocable. Fear is sweeping the land and the days are short.
