HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO

As I type this, the last of our friends from Chicago and Arizona are packing their bags and we're heading to church before taking them to the airport. Al, Lynnea, Dave and Karen are flying home and Larry from Az. is driving to Chicago to continue His ministry of service helping His daughter. It has been one heck of a week and a half as they partnered with us building two homes, feeding the colonia and handing out hundreds of gifts to the women and children in Mexico. And most of all helping us with things around our house. So for the last 10 days, people from Harvest Church in Burbank and Moraine Valley Church in Palos Heights, Il allowed God to live His life through them as they reached out beyond their comfort zones and served The Living God. The houses were built and decorated in the usual way, but on dedication day, GOD CAME DOWN!! He visited us as we prayed a prayer of Salvation with Victor and Elda, kneeling on the ground with Eldas' sister Julianna and her husband Eliazar, who had prayed to receive Christ just one month ago. A true visitation from The Holy Spirit as we sang songs and prayed, that God would bless these new believers and their families. The team was a real blessing to us and the people in Mexico. So happy Cico de Mayo
