PREP WORK FOR THE IIT HOUSE

Although we need the rain, it puts a damper on our prep work for the IIT students coming down this week end to build a new style house that they designed. I cancelled the delivery for the wood until Monday because the road is pretty muddy. We were in the colonia yesterday to deliver the PVC pipe and also to show my sister in law Michelle and her boyfriend Steve where we minister. They are here for a vacation in Padre but the cold rainy weather has them staying off the beach. We ate lunch in Reynosa and then visited the colonia and our friends and had a cup of coffee before crossing back into the US. People are always amazed at the houses the people in the colonia live in before we are able to build them a new one. It sure is nice to get a visit from people back home and we're glad they came to visit for a day. Rosa Maria was so glad to be in her new home and sleep in a dry bed. The team from the Well in Atlanta took an offering to bless them with new beds, a table and chairs and some other basic needs we will purchase and deliver to them asap. All is quiet in Mx and no problems where we serve. Today we will pick up Roger and Mike at the airport as the team from IIT drives down and are expected here tonight or tommorrow morning. We better start blowing up all the air mattresses before they arrive.
