TEARS OF JOY AND CELEBRATION- ALLELUIA

Today as Paula, Raul and me tried to get a few things finished and decorated on Rosa Marias', Antonio and Nancys' house while waiting for the team to arrive, it began to rain pretty hard and the ouside trim would have to wait. As we tried to get the curtains up and shelves built the team from The Well in Atlanta came and as we all gathered in the house they were brought to tears as they saw how happy the family was to be able to get out of thier old leaky house. Several members of the team shared how blessed they were to be involved in giving a family a house. As time went on, 23 year old Antonios heart was being transformed. He had never seen Christianity in action before and was moved to repentance about who Christ is and invited the living, resurrected Christ to save him and prayed with us as we all wept. This is the reason we are here! Antonio saw our good works and gave all the glory to God and he is forever sealed with the Holy Spirit. Paula and I gave our testimony about how and why we ended up here and challenged them all to get out of the boat and walk on water as they learn to lean and depend on Jesus. So lets get this straight, God sends Paula and me here from Chgo, we end up in this colonia, God speaks to a families heart in Indiana to send us money to build a house for a family, a group from Georgia comes to assist in the building process, they are all changed, Antonio get saved and God is glorified!!! What a great week. Thank you Jesus! Oh yea, today was Pastor Victors Birthday and his wife made some great mole' and we had tres leches cake.
